Sight is a purely optical waist-level viewfinder. Unlike an EVF, it requires zero battery, has absolute zero lag, and doesn’t cut you off from your surroundings. It brings back the classic medium-format ritual and a low-profile stance, allowing you to compose through pure optics without intruding on the scene.
Hold your camera at waist or chest level and look straight down into the screen at a perpendicular 90-degree angle. At this optimal viewing position, light transmission is maximized, and the ultra-fine Fresnel patterns disappear to give you the clearest, most immersive frame.
Camera Fit: Sight mounts easily onto any camera equipped with a standard hot shoe or cold shoe slot.
Lens Fit: Its optics are optimized for lenses with a full-frame equivalent focal length of 28mm, 35mm, 40mm, and 50mm.
These are built-in Brightline Frames. When you use a 35mm, 40mm, or 50mm lens, these frames overlay on the native 28mm view to help you accurately preview and compose your shot for those specific focal lengths.
The native optical structure of Sight supports a maximum wide-angle of 28mm (Full-frame equivalent). This makes it a perfect companion for 28mm prime lenses, offering a wide and clean perspective of the streets.
